Hao Nhien’s Association Approved Show Of Nakedness
Arts Association Give The Photographer’s Black And White Images The Go Ahead
Licensing art shows has been notoriously difficult. Promoting anything vaguely conceptual has been particularly precarious, never mind works that contain nudity — even in its more artful forms.
But somehow photographer Hao Nhien has had his new show, ‘Tao Tac’, at the Ho Chi Minh Fine Arts Association Headquarters approved.
“I prepared for this show for a very long time and knew what it would take to open a nude photo exhibition,” he told Tuoi Tre news about the show that closes 18th September.
The black and white ‘Collector’s series’ of 50 works might signal an easing of restrictions on artworks here. And you can take a look at the Arts Association’s approved show of nudity below.
