Tien Vo’s ‘The Alphabet I Found In Mom’s Kitchen’
Saigon Creative Collaborates On New Children’s Book
After noticing a dearth of quality, alphabet-based reading material for children in Vietnam, AnyArena Insta Elite and all-round creative ‘slashie’ Tien Vo, decided to create her own. Inspired by both the birth of her own son, Will the Explorer, over a year ago and a series of images she released on instagram, she collaborated with copywriter Nguyen Hoang Vu, visual artist Truc Vo and photographer Monkey Minh to make the book a reality.
Travelling from A to Z via a series of quirky tales and carefully art directed photos, it’s a journey youngsters will enjoy taking, as it revels in the world of the ever so slightly silly. With each brightly coloured image a ‘reimagination of what objects might look like to a child’, in combination with easy-to-read prose, we’re sure ‘The Alphabet I Found In The Kitchen’ will stoke inquiring young minds and have a long life on children’s (and parents) bookshelves everywhere.
