TPG Village Inspired By Tradition
Kientruc O architects look to the past to create the future of Office Spaces
Does your workspace inspire you? Tasked with conceiving the ‘new office’ for a District 10 multimedia company in Ho Chi Minh City, architects Kientruc O have taken inspiration from the past to create a space we’d all love to call ‘work’.
Encompassing what they say is the collaborative nature of the traditional Vietnamese village, the 635 square meter office gives room to breathe for each of the company’s individual departments, yet links them up in an organic, down-to-earth way - despite being 21-storey’s up. Featuring plenty of flowy lines, natural timbers, and light-filled rooms, the overall effect of this most modern of open-plan offices is to create the opportunity for employees to challenge the notion of ‘dislocation’ and ‘enrich the traditional humanistic relationship’ - all while taking in their unique perspective of the city. We love it.
