World Champion Dancers 'Quick Crew' Come To Town
Globetrotting Norwegians showing out at Envy Club Friday night
Norway’s The Quick Crew have got moves. They are Nasir Sirikhan and twins Suleman Malik and Bilal Malik. They grew up in Oslo and learnt to dance in the city’s youth clubs. In 2006 they started entering local and international hip hop dance competitions. These days they define their style as unique — formed out of their cross-cultural experiences and they’ve been winners and runners up in the Norwegian Championships, the European Championships and the World Championships.
In 2009 they won ‘Norway’s Got Talent’, signed to Sony, and since then have linked with major sponsors like Samsung, Redbull, Monster and Nike, while becoming a fixture on TV in their home country. They have choreographed K-Pop artists, and they even just opened a dance studio in Chengdu. When they’re not there, you’ll find them travelling the world doing shows, teaching their passion, and inspiring a next generation of dancers.
The Quick Crew will be touching down at Envy on Friday 7th July to show Saigon what they’ve got. Expect high-intensity hip hop-influenced world class dance moves.
