Going Abstract.

I have been on the subject of how to look at things a little differently for a few weeks now. so i guess i don't see any reason to alter that course..... for now.

 

What has kept me inspired this week is the arrival of a new toy.
Sometimes having a new way to look at things, physically, opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.

In this case it was a little camera that, by the standards of all of my other cameras that i work with or travel with, is very limited or primitive in what it can do. Probably because of the cameras limitations it has forced me to take a new look at how to photograph things.
Not to sound arrogant, but it is not very often in the past few months that I look at a photo I have taken and say to myself "yeah! that was neat!"

Sometimes getting a chance to look at something from a different perspective can make a huge difference in what you see.

In this case, it was the chance to do just that, but at the same time having a limited amount of options to make the photographs that you are used to seeing.
As well, having to learn a completely new way of thinking can help create something that you yourself would never have tried before.

I truly believe that this is possible in no matter what you do.
Many people look to others for inspiration, when in fact, new inspiration is right inside you all the time. sometimes it just takes a little push to realize it....
or a new toy. :P
