Three artist friends opened this funky café on the border between districts 1 and 5 with the idea of making a haven for creative types to meet each other, work, and hang out. The interiors reflect a cyber-punk theme with glowing paper trees, torn-apart electronics and paintings of mythical creatures, while the second-floor features a library of art books and piles of pencils and sketch paper for customers who are suddenly struck by inspiration. The owners put on frequent exhibitions, and hold life-drawing workshops with a live model every Saturday morning for 30,000 VND.

EAT
Café fare with a Vietnamese-Italian twist, reflecting the nationalities of the owners. Very authentic spaghetti and worthwhile desserts.

DRINK
Along with the usual coffee and tea options, check out a range of healthy, fruity drinks bearing names like “Mondrian,” “Dali,” and “Klimt.”
