This iconic bar is located on the rooftop of the 5-Star Caravelle Hotel. Its panoramic views of Saigon’s skyline make it a spectacular place to watch the sunset over the city.

Several generations of international politicians, celebrities, authors and war correspondents visiting have helped make it a legend. The famous ‘roof top garden bar’ became an unofficial headquarters for correspondents and generals during the 1960s and early 70s. The original bar still stands, antique fans still whirl languidly from the raked ceiling, cocktails are still carefree on the garden terrace, dating back to 1956; and the verandah remains a “lookout tower” across Ho Chi Minh City, with its romantic purple glow at sunset.

DRINK
Drinks vary from your classic cocktails to some more luxury signature drinks. At lunch, salads, gourmet sandwiches and desserts are served. Classic choices include smoked salmon and avocado salad, tomato & feta cheese salad, classic turkey club sandwich.
