This spot – one of Saigon’s most popular – is a chic restaurant by day and a hopping lounge and nightclub after dark. Situated in a gorgeous colonial-style house, Vasco’s offers a range of experiences: enjoy food and drinks in the courtyard of a former opium refinery, relax into one of the deep red seats in the dining area upstairs, or head to the spacious bar next door, which is one of the town’s most happening place to drink, socialize and hit the dance floor. Ambiance strikes a nice balance between casual and plush. A second location can be found by the lake at The Crescent in Phu My Hung.

EAT
Good Italian, French and Asian fare make up the bulk of the menu. The Beef Tournedos stand out, while both the Pizza and the Chicken Cordon Bleu are also much talked-about.
