To mark the presence in Ho Chi Minh City of the French visual and sound artist Sebastian SZCZYRK, The Consulate General of France and The French Institute in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City Antenna) invite various local artists to collaboratively build a sound and visual performance on Friday, November 25th 2011 from 20:00 to 22:00 at the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF, 28 Le Thanh Ton, District 1).

Sébastien SZCZYRK is a French artist graduated from the Fine Arts School in Paris. His art practice across several disciplines: visual researches, design, music creation, sound experimentations. His work has been presented in many countries such as France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. 

 

His ephemeral artistic forms are often inspired by his travels and his meetings. On this very special occasion, he will build a creative and intercultural dialogue with some famous French, Vietnamese, Hungarian, and Philippine artists living in HCM City: Thierry Bernard-Gotteland (visual and sound artist) Freddy Nadolny Poustochkine (illustrator), Cao Hoang Long (visual artist), Nguyen Hong Giang (sound artist), Krisztian Kelner (architect and sound artist) and Mervin Joseph Espina (visual artist, musician and curator).
