The Ascending Dragon Music Festival, part of the 1000th anniversary of the founding of Hanoi, will be performed by musicians from Grammy Award-winning Southwest Chamber Music, Vietnamese musicians and the faculty from the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi.

Performances including numerous Asian premieres will take place at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the Hanoi Opera House and the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory Concert Hall.
