Coco Rocha Stars on Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam January Cover
Zhang Jinga Photograph’s Veteran Model in New York
Inspired by nature’s beauty at its finest, Phuong My’s ‘Pristine’ collection debuted at Vietnam’s International Fashion Week FW16. Now, frequent collaborator and photographer Zhang Jinga has photographed Coco Rocha in her designs for the cover of January’s Harper’s Bazaar.
Known for her fierce look and bold personality, Phuong My transformed Coca into an ethereal looking fairy, inspired by a character from the Lord of the Rings. Interviewed for the piece, the now 15-year veteran gave some tips for young models. “I think if you want to create truly dynamic and moving images you really have to lose that self-doubt and be in the moment with the photographer. I don't care if people laugh at me on set, I'm going to do what it takes to get the shot right.”.
