H&M TO OPEN FIRST VN STORES IN 2017
First Location Expected to Be Thao Dien, D2
After Zara landed in the city just a few months ago, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to hear that Swedish retail giants H&M are hot on its heels, expecting to open their first Vietnam locations early next year. One of the undisputed heavyweight champions of fast, affordable fashion, our very own Suboi collaborated with the brand not long ago, posing with likes of Rosario Dawson, Chance the Rapper and Chloe Sevigny in a collaboration with French brand Kenzo, and directed by legendary photographer and art director Jean Paul-Goude. Funny how things work out isn’t it?
Predictions are that the first store will open in District 2’s Thao Dien, with another anticipated for Hanoi in the second half of 2017. Watch this space for what we think will be some more exciting news for fashion followers in the city.
