Street Styles In London At The LV x Supreme Team Up
London Hosts The Line’s Launch As Global Pop Ups Open Their Doors
Clothing brand Supreme set up in ‘94. Uniquely at the time, in their first store in downtown Manhattan they put the clothes round the sides of the shop so their customers, mostly skaters, could coast straight in.
They always stocked other brands besides their own that appealed to their demographic, like Vans and Nike. And that community-mindedness extended to collaborations. In the past the label have joined forces with Clarks, Dickies, Levi’s and Comme des Garçons among many others.
Their latest collaborative partners, Louis Vuitton, need no introduction. The two just opened pop-up stores in Europe, in London and Paris, and around the world with openings in Sydney, Seoul, Tokyo, Miami, and Los Angeles (although New York residents forced the shut down of a planned store there due, some say, to Supreme’s sketchy permit history in the city).
To hype the openings they just launched their LV x Supreme line with a show in London. As you’d expect, there was some serious street style on show. Check it out below.
