Wes Anderson Directs H&M Christmas Ad
King of the Unorthodox Plays with Your Christmas Emotions
Add this to the list of things you don’t expect. From the creator of indie cult classics like The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore and more recently The Grand Budapest Hotel, comes a Christmas commercial for H&M, ‘Come Together’. Starring actor Adrien Brody as the train conductor, it’s all very ‘Wes’, as his 4 minute narrative see’s Christmas plans ruined for his passengers by inclement weather, only for a delivery through the trains’ window to save the day.
As we say, it’s very Wes, and the payoff should leave even the grinchiest of us feeling a little bit warm and gooey inside. Says Adrien Brody; "This story may resonate more than ever at a time in the world where we could all do with giving a stranger a hug,"
