Fashionistas rejoice – this year’s instalment of the annual Vietnam Fashion Fair is nearly upon us. The annual event, an essential date in the diaries of this country’s trend-conscious set, is due to take place between December 19-25 at Hanoi’s Vietnam Exhibition Fair Centre (VEFAC).
For a full seven days, the centre will be packed with literally hundreds of local brand fashion, cosmetics, jewellery and other beauty products. The scale of the event is massive. Organisers expect there to be over 400 booths in an area covering around seven hectares.
Although splashing the cash on the cornucopia of temptations will of course be the main focus for customers, there’s much more to the Fair than merely shopping. There will also be fashion shows presenting new collections by Vietnamese designers as well as make-up and beauty workshops.
The Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group, VEFAC, the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association and the Vietnam Gold Trading Association organize the seven-day event.
