Designer Vo Thi Li Lam’s creations epitomize her individual style: classic, effortless elegance. The launch of her 2nd Lam Boutique in D7 last Friday 10th Sept, was everything we have come to expect from one of Saigon’s most inspiring designers/style icons. The vibe was charmingly casual, as guests mingled contently with champagne in one hand and sushi in the other. The store tastefully showcased Lam's unique bohemian style, with mementos of her inspirations artfully scattered throughout the space and an eclectic soundtrack playing.

 

 

The main attraction was undoubtedly Lam’s designs, as most of the appetizers went untouched while guests perused the racks and tried on items from the stylish yet simple vintage inspired women's range. Lam was just as delighted as guests at the opening “It is interesting to be here in District 7,” she said. “There’s a totally different atmosphere to the city centre and I’m excited about the possibilities.” We’re also excited, her stylish and affordable ready-to-wear collections are going to make shopping easier and our wardrobe infinitely more interesting.
