Illustrator Iain Macarthur has produced an stunning series of illustrations focusing on intricate masks and headpieces. Masks are very haute couture at the moment with vogues recent 90th anniversary masquerade ball and their presence in numerous recent fashion advertising campaigns.

Macarthur  describes his work as "surreal and unique in its own way... I create portraits of ordinally people but create them in a unusual way by embelishing patterns and watercolour effects ... making their faces from something plain to something entirely bizzare and wonderful at the same time "
