Saigon Through The Lens

Videos capture the beauty of HCM City

When you're immersed in the lively chaos of Saigon's streets, it's easy to get caught up in the sea of motorbikes and the crowds of people. Sometimes all it takes is someone with a video camera and an artistic eye to make us step back and remember how beautiful this city can be.

This time-lapse video shows a day in the life of HCM City, showcasing sequences from various areas and angles of the city. The clip is set to a great chillout soundtrack, so put on some headphones press play and enjoy the show.

Directed and shot by Andy Vu and Tony Toka from Paperplane productions.

We're also big fans of this one, which uses  a tilt-shift technique that renders the city in miniature. We love when it switches from stills to time-lapse at the 1:30 mark.
