Look down on EveryoneYou might have noticed the new 68 story glass megastructure in our midst? The Bitexco tower, Saigons newest architectural icon, has just opened their viewing lounge, appropriately titled "Sky Deck".
A lofty lounge where tourists and locals alike can marvel at the spectacular view and watch the ant sized world bustle below. If that wasn't enough to sell you, there are high speed lifts - the fastest in South-East Asia as a matter of fact. At a speed of 7 meters per second you will be blasted to the 49th floor in just 35 seconds.
There is also an educational element to the attraction, as it's equipped with state-of-the-art telescopes and touch-screen "fact boxes" which hold the answer questions like "Whats the meaning of life". Ok not quite, but they have great images and information on the geography and history of our favorite city HCMC, covering culture, architecture and much more.
Be warned there a 200,000 VND fee for the ride but do go check it out.
