Mississippi-born Wesley Pentz, better known by his stage name Diplo, is one of the hottest DJs/producers in the hip-hop/dance-funk genre today. With his mash-up mixtapes, he found and created a sound where his musical tastes - '80s pop, electronica, Dirty South hip-hop, and his major influence, Miami bass music -intersect. Working with the some of the biggest names in the game, M.I.A., Justin Timberlake, Tiesto and Radiohead, to name just a few, Diplo is hot property.
