Get Dangerous With Ariana Grande
Pop Princess Announces Show At Quan Khu 7 Stadium
Ariana Grande is a dangerous woman. And she’s bringing her high-risk brand of entertainment to Ho Chi Minh City.
We’ll be one of only a few tops on the Southeast Asia part of her world tour. She’ll be in Tokyo, Korea, Thailand and the Philippines before touching down in town on August 23rd at Quan Khu 7 Stadium, Tan Binh District. And the organisers are promising a spectacular show.
The tiny pop princess started her career on Broadway (so she’s no doubt got her live act down). She released her first album Yours Truly in 2013, and it included songs like The Way featuring one of our favorite US rappers, tattooed tearaway Mac Miller.
Her second from the studio My Everything hit number one on the Billboard Charts on release in 2014. Tracks like pop banger Problem with ‘the Iggz’ (that’s Iggy Azalea) blew Grande to superstardom.
She toured the world but forgot to pop by Vietnam in 2015, so she’s making up for it on this tour to promote third album Dangerous Woman. Critics have said that on the album she “pulls off pop, R&B, reggae, and house – all without overextending herself or pandering to trends". She definitely upped her rap collabo game with spots from Future and Lil Wayne. And while they my not be making special guest appearances, Ariana is probably all you’ll need anyway.
In case you can’t make it, she’ll see out the end of August with shows in China, and return to Asia for the F1 event in Singapore on September 16th.
The organisers Pulse Active also announced that the Chainsmokers, who we just told you will play the upcoming Road to Ultra Tour, will also be paying us a visit in Vietnam in September too.
