The Chainsmokers Smoking New BTS Collabo
The NYC DJ Duo Drop A New Track Before They Drop In To Saigon
The Chainsmokers coughed their way through college, where they met. Their breakthrough came with 2015’s ‘Roses’ from their debut EP, Bouquet, which reached the Billboard Top Ten. And they’re currently on their Memories: Do Not Open tour, with the duo due in Saigon in a few days — on 14th September.
Now the NYC DJ double act, who we last spotted at the MTV awards a couple of weeks ago, have teamed up with BTS for the Korean’s first ever American collaboration. The track, which will feature on BTS’ new release marks a great match up, as their album is called Love Yourself: Her and The Chainsmokers became famous for their narcissistic 2014 breakthrough #Selfie.
Naturally, the song will feature BTS rappers Rap Monster, Suga and J-Hope and although it’s not out yet, we did just catch this intriguing comeback trailer from the band. And who knows? Maybe The Chainsmokers with drop the track when they play their set for us here in Saigon.
